Itinerary
Welcome to our London Science, Sport and Culture Exploration Tour. Today we are transferring you from one of the airports of London. We will take you to our dorm located in the city centre and close to worldwide known River Thames. After a short break, we will start to explore our vicinity and neighbourhood with our introduction to the bus stops, supermarkets, pharmacies and other important local points. This is what you need when visiting a new place. In one of the restaurants in the city centre, you will be served a light welcome meal. You will also be given an orientation session about the public rules, dos and dont’s, how to live and survive in London. Okay, we are going to bed early to recover from exciting and pleasant tiredness of our journey and to be able to wake up refreshed the next day.
Good Morning. Today, it’s time to get our travel cards which gives us the right to travel to every corner of London during our stay. After getting information about the public transportation system of London, we are going to Petticoat Lane Market, which is the biggest open markets in London and we enjoy bargain shopping including catchy souvenirs in this market. After the market, we are going to Covent Garden passing by world famous universities and BBC via Holborn in which finance and high education campuses are dense. Here is the Apple Store; don’t miss the opportunity to visit it. After then, we see a lot of entertaining street shows in Jubilee Market. Now, we have a “Welcome to London” surprise for you; Are you ready for a tour in London Dungeons full of adrenaline and fear which will take 110 minutes? If you want to experience the dark period of Middle Ages, it means that you are ready to meet Jack the Ripper, Great London Fire, Blind Barber, London Sewer System and mice, torture and ghost galleries and so on. We are sure that you will not forget this trip full of fear and excitement forever. Before returning our homes, we are seeing House of Parliament, Big Ben and London Eye under night lights and we feel the enchantment of amazing night view of the famous Thames River. Yes, welcome to London once more. Our dinner is at 8:00 p.m. After dinner, we are returning to our dormitory in the city centre.
This is a training day. After written and verbal English placement test with international quality and standard in our language school which was selected as the best language school in 2015, we are taking an introductory tour in the school and starting our first English Class. After a delicious lunch prepared by Polish cooks, we are exploring London altogether. Our first stop Buckingham Palace, the residence of the Royal Family. After an ice cream feast in St. James’ Park, which is one of the most beautiful parks of England and rests break on its green lawn, at 4:00 p.m. we are watching a traditional English ceremony lasting from the 1700s up to now all together. Changing The Queen's Life Guard - Horse Guards Parade. We are visiting Downing Street Number 10, the official residence of English Prime Minister since 1792, consecutively. We are walking through White Hall Street to Trafalgar Square. After introducing you National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, and St Martin-in-the-Fields, we are returning to our lush green neighbourhood by the bank of Thames River and back to our dorm.
Today, we are heading toward the British Museum, which is the biggest and the most prestigious museums in the world after our English Class that we have formed together with foreign students. More than 80.000 historical artefacts and a total of 7 million objects belonging to every period and every civilization from the Early Bronze Age to the Roman Empire with various dimensions are waiting for us to be examined. Kidding! Of course, it is impossible to see them all in a single day. Therefore, we are focusing on the artefacts which attract our attention most. We are conveying information about antique money from periods including Roman Period, structures which date back to Greek Civilization, but which we don’t know with the purpose of which they were used, which we are accustomed to seeing in our country, the process of mummification, embalming one by one to you. Egyptian Gallery, Galleries of Gebelein Man, which has reached today without decaying for 4000 years, Africa, Japan, China, Korea, Greek, Islam Artefacts, amazing library are magnificent and they are definitely cultural memorials. The workshop is also waiting for us in the Museum. In this workshop, you are reaching enormous knowledge about World Culture. After our museum visit, we are leaving you free in Oxford Street one of the most famous shopping streets in London, especially in Primark which is the secret mystery of England. For friends which do not prefer shopping, we have a Harry Potter surprise. Those who want to visit The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾; the home of Harry Potter's Wizarding World merchandise, souvenirs, and collectables, follow us immediately! We have wonderful places to show you including some movie locations in London!
Night Activity
We are taking our lunch boxes and taking you to Leicester Square. You can see both entertaining street shows and spend joyful time in giant Lego Store and chocolate empire of M&M World. The minute you step in, you will smell the chocolate. Here you can live and have fun the active nightlife of London under the guidance of us. Don’t miss this night.
After your English Lesson, we are having our lunch in the canteen. We keep exploring the important landmarks and highlights of London. We are going to ride on London Eye passing by Embankment, Scotland Yard, Metropolitan Police Headquarters, London Bridge, Jubilee Gardens, and Royal Festival Hall consecutively. Before seeing London with London Eye from a bird’s eye view, we are all together watching a short 4D introductory film. For us, it’s as important as London Eye activity. Just wear your 3D glasses and go! While you are riding on the London Eye, you will be able to see the most important landmarks of London. Get your camera ready (literally your phone) and take your stunning shots. Our journey will be 30 minutes and you will be taken up and up. After the London Eye, we are walking over Westminster Bridge and giving information about the English Parliament System in front of Big Ben, Houses of Parliament to our students. We are passing by Westminster Abbey, where the funeral Ceremony of Princess Diana was held. Reaching world famous Covent Garden which is like most with London Tube would be the next thing in our list.
Night Activity
In the Covent Garden, traditional English fish and chips are served this evening. We will either watch 42nd Street, one of the best musicals in the West End at the Royal Drury Lane Theatre, or one of the other musicians in the Theatre.
After our English lessons for today, we will have our lunch together. Are you ready to take a wonderful day full of science goodness? So, we are heading to the Natural History Museum, one of the most beautiful natural history museums in London, even in the world. In the museum, dinosaur galleries, mammals, all small marine creatures, the hidden world of insects, bird galleries, the world gallery of tectonic activities, human and animal bodies under the lava, earthquake simulation room, human evolution, natural stones gallery, meteors and some other examples we will examine. In addition to that, we will be working together in questions and answers sessions. How, when, why, we will be finding out here in the Museum for today. You will admire the Natural History Museum pretty much. It would be a tiring day for everyone. Therefore, we will have our dinner at 19:00 either in our families. For the students in our dormitories, we will take you to a local restaurant. Students who still feel energetic can join evening activities and play group games such as football with local British kids in our lawn. Our famous common area is as large as 2 football pitches in our Richmond neighbourhood.
Today is the last day for our English lessons. That means you all deserved your certificates. Our English language school director will deliver your certificates in a fancy graduation ceremony. Well, it’s the time to celebrate our graduation with Royals & celebrities such as Megan & Harry, Brad Pitt, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Take That, Sherlock Holmes and wait! Even with Anakin Skywalker and other famous Star Wars characters! Yes, that’s right!.. Together we are going to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. This museum will entirely change the concept of the museum in your mind. You will encounter with the most important people in the world of cinema, sports, music, politics, science, the popular names of the world in all era will await your visit. You won’t wait a single minute to take their picture, alone or together. Spot your favourite leader or politician in the museum. If you are a deep Sherlock Holmes fan, here you can visit his gallery in the basement with an extra charge. Now grab a black cab that will take you a journey throughout London’s glorious history from the past to the present day. This tour is called London Spirit tour. Oh, you will absolutely love this. Our next activity is 4D cinema experience in Madame Tussauds largest IMAX screen. Here, you will actually see the real dimension that the cinema industry has reached. Have your 3D glasses, sit upright and watch the London adventure of Marvels. After Madame Tussauds, we will proceed with the world’s famous Hard Rock Cafe in London. London HRC is the first Hard Rock Café in the world in 1971. While shopping at the Hard Rock Cafe, you can also visit the Vault under our guidance. See the original items, lyrics, music-oriented items of the world-famous musicians such as Beatles member John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Guns N’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix and many more! Our families will expect us for dinner by 8 pm this time. After dinner, we visit the New Inn Pub, one of Richmond's most beautiful traditional English pubs, with your teachers & group leaders. We would like to give some important information about British culture and social life in the pub.
Today is the last day in London. Well, all good things must come to an end. We provide your transfer service back to the airport with a private vehicle. This is the end of our service and we do hope to see you in London again as there are many things to see, many things to do.
